= MULTIPURROSE PRECAUSIONS for CONSTRUCTION PLANNING 1. Construction Floor When operating RSP, the combined weight of the unit and the user applies pressure. Additionally, the condition of the floor can affect performance, so careful consideration must be given to the design of the building floor where the RSP will be installed. Floor Finish Level: The RSP is designed to operate on flat, smooth and hard floors. The unevenness of the floor finish material should be approximate to a tolerance of +2mm over 2m and a maximum of +5mm over 20m. Underfloor structure: Make sure there are no underfloor services i.e. such as air diffuser, heating elements, underground electric wire, etc., in the fixing zone where the RSP operates. Flooring: Flooring with soft materials is unsuitable as it deforms significantly during RSP operation. Floor Finish Material: There are different types of floor finish materials, such as PVC, Vinyl, Carpet etc. - PVC, Vinyl: Ensure the connection between these materials and the underfloor material is firmly fixed to prevent peeling or sinking in the running area. Most flooring materials will retain some form of permanent indentation (running marks) due to the localized heavy loads exerted by RSP. - Carpet: Select a carpet with minimal unevenness. Ensure that the connection between the carpet and the underfloor material is firmly fixed to prevent peeling or sinking in the running area. Lay the carpet weave parallel to the direction of travel. Note: We conduct evaluation tests on various floor finish materials based on customer requirements. In case you doubt that the floor finish material does not meet our requirements, you can send us a sample of it. Our experts will check the actual ability of the material when operating the RSP system, and consult you about suitable solutions. Please contact our representatives for further inquiries. Floor Parting: Ideally, the floor on which the RSP operates should be free of steps, gaps or floor parting material. If floor parting is unavoidable, please ensure any gaps between materials connected by floor parting are 15mm or less.
